Sri Lankan captain Dimuth Karunaratne reacts to Harsha Bhogle’s ancient tweet, After being trolled.

The Sri Lankan cricket team’s captain, Dimuth Karunaratne; is being mock on the internet for reacting to an old tweet from pundit Harsha Bhogle. The blunder occured following India’s overwhelming victory over Sri Lanka in the second Test, giving them a 2-0 series lead.

Bhogle sent the tweet after Karunaratne scored a century in the fourth innings of a Test match in August 2019. The match took place at the Galle International Cricket Stadium between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.

In the fourth innings, Karunaratne hit a superb 122 to help Sri Lanka easily chase down a target of 268. Bhogle praised the left-hander for his outstanding performance. A hundred in the fourth inning is something remarkable.  In August 2019, the analyst tweeted, “And it comes from a very great player #DimuthKarunaratne.”

The Sri Lankan, who is also being lauded for his execution in India’s moment Test coordinate in Bengaluru; appeared to have missed the date on Bhogle’s tweet and reacted with a “Thank You.” Users on; Twitter were speedy to take note the botch and reacted with funny remarks. “Is everything affirm?” a client asked. Another said, “Halt utilizing Web Explorer.”

Another tweet said, “My brother fair looked his title and responded to each tweet he saw since… he felt he; was fair being recognize now.” Karunaratne, as well, recognize his blunder and issued an expression; of remorse: “This tweet was send three a long time prior. That is a great forecast, @bhogleharsha.”

The Sri Lankan captain battled alone at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru; on Monday as the visitors were also defeat by India by 238 runs and lost the two-match series. Karunaratne, on the other hand, received a slew of prizes for his 107-run effort in the fourth innings of the contest. The throng of bystanders broke in applause as the southpaw achieved his 14th Test ton on Day 3 of the day-night Test in Bengaluru.
