Commentators are in a tizzy as the non-striker goes for a run even before the ball is thrown.
In cricket, the battle to steal a quick run can open up a world of possibilities. Run-outs, overthrows, a strong field effort, and much more. Each run contributes to the strike rotation and keeps the scoreboard ticking. However, there are times when attempting to reach the conclusion might result in amusing situations. A similar situation occurred during a European Cricket match, which had everyone on the edge of their seats. The batter exited his crease and traversed nearly three-quarters; of the pitch before realizing the bowler had not released the ball.
