Cricket fans have praised Nepal wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh for refusing to run out Andy Mcbrine when the Irish batter fell short of his crease. Kamal Singh bowled the third ball of the penultimate over when the event occurred. Mark Adair of Ireland attempted a wild hoick but was unable to connect. Adair request a quick single, while his non-striker end partner, Andy McBrine, was injure after colliding with the bowler. When Singh threw the ball to Nepal’s wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh, McBrine was a considerable way from the popping crease, yet he elect not to run the batter out. McBrine led the team with 11 runs. Ireland were bowl out for 127 runs in 20 overs when batting first. Ireland’s leading scorer was George Dockrell (28) with 28 points. Other important contributors included Curtis Campher (20), Andy Balbirine (19), and Lorcan Tucker (15).
Dipendra Singh Airee (4/21) was Nepal’s wrecker-in-chief, taking four wickets. Abhinash Bohara (2/26) took two wickets, and Kamal Singh (1/26), Jitendra Mukhiya (1/14), and Sandeep Lamichhanne (1/26) each took one wicket.

In response, Nepal managed only 111 for 9 in 20 overs. Nepal’s best scorer was Dipendra Singh Airee (28) with 28 points. Asif Sheikh (23) also contributed with a valuable knock.
