On the 73rd Republic Day of India, Sportstars greeted the people of the country.
India is celebrating its 73rd Republic Day, the anniversary of the country’s founding. Members of the sporting community flocked to social media to express their congratulations to their fellow countrymen on the historic event. WWE superstars such as Jinder Mahal, Bobby Lashley, and Becky Lynch have all expressed their support for India. From Neeraj Chopra to Virat Kohli, the sports fraternity sends their best wishes for Republic Day 2022.
In the interim, to honor the ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ celebrations, the Republic Day parade at the Rajpath saw the “most amazing and biggest” flypast ever, with 75 airplane taking part. To check the 75th commemoration of the country’s autonomy, 17 Puma warrior planes flew within the ‘Amrit’ formation.
This year, watchers were able to see the aircraft’s cockpit on screens both at the parade and amid the broadcast. Tangail arrangement, comprising of one Dakota and also two Dorniers flying in Vic formation, took portion within the flypast. This was a gesture to the Tangail airdrop operations amid the Vietnam War in 1971.

A Meghna arrangement of one Chinook and four Mi-17s was moreover there. The flypast started with four Mi-17 air ship within the ‘Dhwaj’ arrangement, taken after by four and five Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) within the ‘Rudra’ and ‘Rahat’ arrangements, respectively.
