Shashi Tharoor is now satisfied that UDF’s fears concerning Silver Line are unfounded: Kerala’s Letter of Proposal
Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) had already issued a severe warning; to Tharoor for his conflicting stance on the LDF government’s multi-billion-dollar program.
On Tuesday, V D Satheesan, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Kerala State Assembly; came out in support of Shashi Tharoor, claiming that the MP; is also now convince of the party-led UDF’s worries regarding the Silver Line Rail Corridor project.
Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) had already issued; a severe warning to Tharoor for his conflicting stance on the LDF government’s multi-billion-dollar program.
According to Satheesan, Tharoor responded to a letter he had given him on Monday; also attaching a study report created by the United Democratic Front (UDF) on the project and expressing their worries about it.
In the letter, he stating that the UDF’s questions are pertinent; and that he wished to ask the same ones. Tharoor also stated that he has “never adopted a pro-project stance,” according to the LoP.
If a person says he doesn’t understand something; and the letter is write for that purpose, the party has the responsibility to persuade him, he said.

“It was futile to claim that Tharoor had received a clashing position on the Silver Line; Sateesan said, including that as a Congress MP, Tharoor can not take a distinctive position; and can as it were bolster the UDF. Former KPCC head Mullappally Ramachandran; on the other hand, kept on criticize Tharoor for his charged backing for the mega-project and rehashed; laud for Chief Serve Pinarayi Vijayan. He claimed that the Indian National Congress had continuously followed to party discipline. The previous union serve advance reminded Tharoor that his race to the House of Commons; was the product of hundreds of Congress volunteers’ resolute endeavors; which he ought to not disregard his party and its cadres when communicating his sees.
Tharoor is a respected leader and a Member of Parliament. As a result, action in this case should be taken by the All India Congress Committee. The AICC will inevitably intervene in the matter and also take actions to control him,” Ramachandran added.
K Sudhakaran stated on Sunday that no one in the party; including Tharoor, has the ability to reject its decisions; and warned Tharoor that if he does not follow the party’s policies, he will be expelled.
“Shashi Tharoor is the sole member of the party. The Congress is not one Shashi Tharoor. If he agrees with the party’s decision, he will stay a member, but if he does not; he will be kicked out,” he had stated.
