Dravid’s first task as Team India’s full-time coach will be the forthcoming home series against New Zealand. Which begins on November 17. In July, he coached a limited-overs team captained by Shikhar Dhawan in Sri Lanka.
Dravid has worked as a coach with the India A and India U-19 teams in addition to being the Director of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

Dravid is recognized as one of the best batsmen to ever represent India. Having scored over 13,000 runs in Tests and over 10,000 in One-Day Internationals.
