After the Asia Cup match against India, a Hong Kong cricketer proposes to his girlfriend. Kinchit Shah of Hong Kong made it a night to remember by proposing to his girlfriend in the stands after the match against India.
Hong Kong put up a valiant effort despite losing by 40 runs to India in the Asia Cup on Wednesday. While the outcome was disappointing, Hong Kong batter Kinchit Shah said it was a night to remember. Kinchit went up to the stands at the Dubai International Stadium after the game to surprise his girlfriend and then got down on one knee to propose. Kinchit waited patiently, a large grin on his face, as she looked completely taken aback by the proposal and was heard repeatedly saying “I can’t believe this.”
She eventually replied, “Of course,” and he placed the ring on her finger before the happy couple embraced.

His proposal video and photos went viral on social media, with fans praising the touching moment.
Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant 28-ball 62* and an unbeaten 44-ball 59 powered India to a total of 192/2 after Hong Kong put them in to bat.
After a slow start, India appear to be heading for a low total. Suryakumar went berserk at the death to turn the tide. He hit four fours and six sixes, including four in the final over.
Hong Kong batted with intent in the Powerplay, but faded away when India’s spinners came on.
Kinchit Shah made 20 off 28 balls, while Babar Hayat scored 41 off 35 balls.
They eventually finished with a score of 152/5.
Hong Kong still has a slim chance of reaching the Asia Cup Super-4 stage, but they must defeat Pakistan in their final Group A match.
