You have to be street smart to succeed in T20: Maharaj

Furthermore, Maharaj discuss his success in the shortest format. Which he attribute to his street smarts, which helped him in his T20 career. It is worth mentioning that Maharaj has played 27 Twenty20 Internationals for South Africa, taking 24 wickets and continuing to shine in the format.

“To succeed in T20 as a left-arm spinner, you must be street smart. Do your homework. Any left-arm, right-arm, or finger spinner should compliment each other. If I can help the young players learn the technique of finger spin, I hope it will serve as encouragement for them to keep practicing and rise to a greater level in international cricket,” Maharaj added.
