S Sreesanth selects Virat Kohli as India’s X-factor for the Tests against South Africa. India will play three T20Is, as many ODIs, and two Tests against South Africa. The first T20I taking place on December 10 at Kingsmead in Durban.
India is preparing for a multi-format series journey to South Africa, which will include three T20Is, as many ODIs, and two Tests. The World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle includes the Test matches. During the visit, India A is slated to play two four-day matches against South Africa A and one inter-squad three-day match.
The red-ball matches are the focus of the trip, and former India cricketer S Sreesanth has picked Virat Kohli and KL Rahul as the X-factors for the Indian squad in South Africa, ahead of skipper Rohit Sharma.
