Andy Flower is in talks with SRH about a coaching position. LSG just replaced Andy Flower as head coach with Justin Langer.

The Lucknow Super Giants parted ways with Andy Flower and hired Justin Langer as their new head coach. However, the former’s popularity has not waned, as the Rajasthan Royals appear eager to recruit him into their squad. Notably, Kumar Sangakkara, Rajasthan’s Director of Cricket, is expected to keep his position. He has indicated his wish to nominate Flower as the next head coach.

Meanwhile, more franchises are interest in bringing Flower in. Reports claiming that Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad are both searching for new coaches, with Flower likely on their radar. Notably, RCB under Mike Hesson and Sanjay Bangar has not found success in the last four years. As a result, the team management is interested in bringing in new personnel.

Hyderabad, on the other hand, finish last in the IPL 2023 and are under intense pressure to reclaim their identity. In the previous edition of the competition, the squad drop several of its great cricketers and sign many fresh faces who were expect to lead Hyderabad to victory.

The players failed to step up and head coach Brian Lara faced a lot of criticism.

Umran Malik, who barely made the playing XI last year, was also a source of contention for the coaching staff. As a result, the team management likes to bring someone new, and Flower might be one of their alternatives. Despite the fact that neither Lara nor the franchise have verified any developments, a Cricbuzz article claims that team management is looking for a new coach because they dislike the former cricketer’s coaching style.

When it comes to RCB, their deal with Hesson expires on August 31 and their contract with Bangar expires on December 31, and they have made no steps to re-sign them at the time.
