“Obviously, there will be some discussions about it [team combination], and we’ll see what is required and best, whatever the style of cricket we want to play over the next two years.” Who are the guys who can fill that role for us? That is the issue we need to address. And there are a lot of guys, a lot of players who are doing extremely well in our domestic cricket as well. ” Rohit added after the game.

“We’ll see where the next WTC final is play, where we play; based on that, we’ll decide what kind of players we want to prepare for and what kind of cricket we want to play,” he continued.

Notably, India lost their second consecutive WTC final after losing by eight wickets to New Zealand

The setback has caused fans to question the role of some of the team’s older players, and they want to see some new faces given a chance in the next cycle. The next WTC cycle’s fixtures have yet to be release; it will be fascinating to see if the next final will likewise be held in England.
