Mohsin Khan discusses his difficult days, ailments, and cricket’s rebirth. Lucknow In Lucknow, the Super Giants defeated the Mumbai Indians by five runs.

On Tuesday, May 16, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated the Mumbai Indians (MI) by five runs at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. With this victory, LSG moved up to third place on the IPL points table, while MI dropped to fourth.

Tim David made a late cameo, but it wasn’t enough to keep the visitors in the hunt.

LSG defeated MI by five runs thanks to the remarkable final-over heroics of Indian pacer Mohsin Khan. With Tim David and Cameron Green on strike, the kid call upon to bowl with MI needing 11 runs to win. The 24-year-old bowled beautifully and conceded only five runs in the over, allowing LSG to secure a much-needed win.

During the post-match press conference, Mohsin reminisced on his difficult year. He had given up hope of ever playing cricket. After taking 14 wickets in nine matches with an economy of 5.97 in IPL 2022. He had a significant shoulder injury and did not play competitive cricket for a year. Notably, he was unable to play in the first half of the IPL 2023, and his appearance against Mumbai was only the third of the season.
