Wanindu Hasaranga tops the latest ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings. Suryakumar Yadav maintained his lead in the batting rankings, but Ravichandran Ashwin advanced five places in the bowling rankings.
Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka reclaim the top rank in the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings for bowlers. Suryakumar Yadav of India has maintained his status as the top batter in the current weekly rankings update.
Hasaranga’s two-for-23 total against England at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup bought his tournament haul to 15 wickets. Helping him leapfrog Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan in the rankings chart. Interestingly, Hasaranga win the event. For the first time after dominating in the previous editions in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
Yadav, who has 225 runs in the tournament so far, added 30 runs against Bangladesh. Sikandar Raza has risen to a career-high position in the all-rounder rankings.
Nasum Ahmed of Bangladesh (up six places to 26th), Lockie Ferguson of New Zealand (up two places to 30th), Wayne Parnell of South Africa (up 12 places to 37th), and Naveen-ul-Haq of Afghanistan (up 20 places to 41st) are among those who have climbed in the newest edition.
Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka has risen to 10th in the batting rankings after scoring 67 against England. Finn Allen of New Zealand has risen six places to 15th, while India’s Lokesh Rahul has risen five places to 16th following half-centuries against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
Litton Das of Bangladesh (up five places to 31st) and Glen Maxwell of Australia (up seven places to 33rd) have both risen, while England’s Alex Hales has risen 36 places to 34th after hitting 47 against Sri Lanka.
Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe has risen two spots in the all-rounders rankings after successful tournament in which he made 219 runs and grabbed 10 wickets.
