“In this new jersey, I’m eager to represent #TeamIndia. New energy, new mood. Let’s get started, shall we? “Chahal said on Twitter.
The poster for the BCCI’s jersey presentation showed men’s and women’s team leaders Rohit Sharma and Harmanpreet Kaur, respectively. Suryakumar Yadav, Shafali Verma, Hardik Pandya, and Renuka Singh flank them.
Following the T20Is against Australia, Team India will play three T20Is and three ODIs against South Africa beginning September 28. Their next short-format assignment will be the 2022 T20 World Cup, which begins in October in Australia.
India was eliminated from the Asia Cup at the Super 4 stage following losses to Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They will try to improve their form and momentum ahead of the crucial tournament next month, when they face defending global champions Australia and South Africa, both of whom are strong candidates for the World Cup championship.
