“Remember Last Year’s Game.” – Babar Azam’s Pre-Game Speech Against India. Babar Azam encouraged his team by recalling their 10-wicket victory over India last year. He urged them to use the same body language to achieve the same results.
The world is watching the ongoing Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan. Pakistan defeated India in the T20 World Cup last year, so the team will walk out to the field with a spring in their step. PAK will look to maintain their blistering form as India seeks vengeance for their 2021 T20 World Cup loss. Pakistan captain Babar Azam encouraged his team ahead of the much-anticipated clash by recalling their 10-wicket win over India last year. He urged them to use the same body language to achieve the same results.
“You must maintain the same body language that you displayed during the T20 World Cup. Remember the game from last year, just remember that. When you look back on it, you will recall all of your pleasant memories, as well as your preparation. The result will come if you prepare well. Have confidence in yourself; I know we are missing our main fast bowler, but don’t make us miss him, especially the other fast bowlers. I wish you the best of luck, “Babar stated this in a video posted on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Twitter.

The PCB also issued an official media release in which Babar discussed his thoughts on the game and how the team must have faith in their abilities.
“Our victory over India 11 months ago at the same venue serves as a good point of reference, but that’s all. While we will continue to reflect positively on it, Sunday and any future matches will be new fixtures played in new conditions. I’ve always believed that playing and performing for Pakistan doesn’t require any additional motivation. Representing your country on a global stage is a huge honor and source of pride, and the goal is always to make the country proud.”
Players from both teams were seen interacting with each other ahead of the match between India and Pakistan. On Thursday, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Rishabh Pant met with Shaheen Shah Afridi, who is out of the tournament due to an injury.
Shaheen then expressed his desire to see Virat in better shape. He also joked with Pant about wanting to be able to hit one-handed sixes like him.
“I was moved by how they approached Shaheen Shah Afridi during Thursday’s training session and expressed their support for him. The visuals of the players interacting with one another were also heartwarming, reflecting their mutual respect and friendship. On game day, however, everything will be set aside, and players from both teams will charge at each other in an attempt to outnumber the other “Babar stated.
The Asia Cup will be played for the 15th time since its inception in 1984, but only the second time in T20 format. In 2016, India won the T20 tournament in Bangladesh, while Pakistan finished third.
