During India’s second ODI against the West Indies, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja faced former West Indies batter Brian Lara. The all-rounder also posted a photo of himself with the former cricketer and referred to him as a “legend.” Lara played 430 international matches for the West Indies, scoring 11,953 Test runs and 10,405 ODI runs. He still holds the record for the highest individual score in a Test innings (400 not out). Jadeja, on the other hand, has 291 international games under his belt.

After Jadeja posted his photo with Lara on his Instagram status, his Indian Premier League team, Chennai Super Kings, shared it with the caption, “Big fan of your work!”
Jadeja rule out of the first two ODIs against the West Indies due to a right knee injury. In his absence, Axar Patel named to the team for the first two games. While Axar played well in the first game, he delivered a match-winning performance in the second. Scoring an unbeaten 64 off 35 balls to help India chase down a stiff 312-run target. Against the West Indies with two wickets in hand and as many balls to spare.
The victory in the second One-Day International (ODI) gave India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, having already won the first game by a narrow margin of three runs. On Wednesday, July 27, India and the West Indies will play their third and final ODI at the same venue. Notably, Shikhar Dhawan is captaining India because Rohit Sharma is resting for the series.
