India maintains 3rd place following a series victory over England. India won their first one-day international series in England since 2014.
India’s outstanding five-wicket victory over England in the series-deciding third ODI at Manchester on Sunday. July 17 has greatly aided their position in the ICC ODI team rankings. The Rohit Sharma-led team has maintained its third-place ranking in the latest rankings thanks to this big win.
The Men in Blue are one position ahead of archrivals Pakistan, who are fourth with 106 rating points. It should be noted, however, that India is only three points ahead of Pakistan, with 109 rating points.
New Zealand tops the list with a rating of 128 points, while England, the reigning ODI world champions, remains in second place despite their recent series loss with 121 points.

India concludes their tour of England on a high note.
Notably, Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who took six wickets in the first game of the series, was ruled out due to a niggle and Mohammed Siraj was named as his replacement. With a double-wicket maiden, the pacer made a good first impression, dismissing Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow for ducks.
England scored 259 thanks to a fighting 60 from skipper Jos Buttler and contributions from Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes, Liam Livingstone, and Craig Overton. Hardik Pandya (4/24) and Yuzvendra Chahal (3/60) shone for India.
In response, the Men in Blue lost their top order with little on the board before Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya came to the rescue with a 133-run fifth-wicket stand. Pant was given a reprieve after a missed stumping, and he made the England bowlers pay with his attacking style of cricket.
The southpaw completed the formalities by hitting five consecutive fours off David Willey in an over before hitting the winning boundary off Joe Root in the 43rd over to remain unbeaten on 125 off 113 balls. Thus, India achieved their first ODI series victory on English soil since 2014.
