Sunil Gavaskar, batting legend, has heap massive praise on Krunal and Hardik Pandya for their recent performances. Crediting the duo for being strong and continuing to play cricket with zeal after losing their father last year. Gavaskar state this after reviewing the photos posted by the Pandya brothers on Father’s Day, which was held on Sunday, June 19.

Himanshu Pandya, Krunal and Hardik’s father, died in January of last year after suffering a cardiac arrest in Vadodara. He was instrumental in developing and encouraging his children’s cricket careers. Many of the cricketers’ social media pictures and videos featured their late father. “What a fantastic story. Losing their father about a year ago was devastating for both brothers. With Father’s Day photos, we could see how close they were to their father and how much their father had helped them grow as cricketers. To be able to come out of that and play the way both brothers have is a story that will inspire many others,” Sunil Gavaskar also told Star Sports.
