Wasim Akram is a true legend, tormenting batters for years with his incredible swing and seam bowling. Wasim Akram, dubbed the “Sultan of Swing,” took 414 wickets in Test cricket and 502 wickets in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). His ability to swing the ball in both directions made him nearly unplayable at times. Now 56 years old, the Pakistan legend demonstrated that he is still a force to be reckoned with when it comes to bowling. Akram bowled former England captain Michael Atherton out with his signature delivery, an inswinging yorker, in the ‘Wellbeing of Women’ celebrity charity match “in memory of Australia great Shane Warne.”
In a video posted by Cricket District, Akram takes a few steps before unleashing a lethal yorker, eventually defeating Atherton. The Englishman then salutes the Pakistani great by sticking out his bat before walking out of the ground with an embarrassing smile.

Akram wasn’t done tormenting Atherton yet. He later took to Twitter and trolled the Englishman by saying: “Sorry @Athersmike we might get older but some things will stay the same!”

West Indies legend Clive Lloyd was umpiring when Akram bowled Atherton.
Apart from his bowling exploits, Akram also batted for a half-century during the game.
