Prithvi Shaw has typhoid or something similar, according to the doctor: Rishabh Pant

Prithvi Shaw has typhoid or something similar, according to the doctor: Rishabh Pant. Shaw’s last game was against LSG on May 1.

The latest IPL 2022 match featured the Delhi Capitals and the Rajasthan Royals, with the DC claiming a stunning eight-wicket victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. Despite the fact that DC had two heroes in Mitchell Marsh and David Warner in the previous game, skipper Rishabh Pant mentioned missing Prithvi Shaw in the squad.

Shaw last played for the Capitals on May 1 against the Lucknow Super Giants and has been out since. It was only recently that he provided health updates and mentioned being admitted to the hospital due to a fever. Pant, on the other hand, clarified his condition, saying the batter has typhoid.

“We miss him, but we have no control over that.” “The doctor told me he has typhoid or something like that,” Pant explained to Star Sports.

It was almost a perfect game, but there is always room for improvement:  Rishabh Pant

When it came to the game between DC and RR, the Capitals were chasing 161 runs and had opener Srikar Bharat caught for a duck, but what followed was nothing short of a thunderstorm. Marsh and Warner wreaked havoc at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, helping their team cross the finish line with 11 balls to spare. While Marsh starred with 89 off 62 balls, Warner supported him with an unbeaten fifty as they cruised to victory.

“It was nearly a perfect game, but I believe there is always room for improvement.” You can go either way on these types of wickets with little turn. I’m glad we bowled first. I thought 140-160 was a good score and mentioned it at the coin toss. And we made it. Because destiny is always in your hands, you should always strive to give your all. The fielding could be improved, but this was a near-perfect game,” he added.
