MS Dhoni’s Hilarious Dig At Dwayne Bravo During CSK vs DC IPL 2022 Clash. MS Dhoni is known for his witty one-liners to his teammates from behind the stumps, and the CSK captain delivered another one on Sunday during the match against the Delhi Capitals.
Many bowlers have benefited from MS Dhoni’s words of wisdom from behind the stumps. Players have previously admitted that Dhoni’s input has helped them learn and improve. The CSK captain is also known for some witty one-liners to his teammates, whether for India or the Chennai Super Kings, some of which have been picked up by the stump mic. During a Test match between India and New Zealand in 2014, one such comment to Ravindra Jadeja went viral. Dhoni delivered another gem during CSK’s convincing win over Delhi Capitals in an IPL 2022 match on Sunday.
The match was effectively over when DC were reeling at 109 for eight in the 17th over. Maheesh Theekshana bowled a slightly short delivery to Anrich Nortje, who attempted to beat the man at short cover on the fourth ball of the over.
Dwayne Bravo, on the other hand, moved quickly to his left and fielded the ball, denying the DC pair even a single. Dhoni was quick to praise Bravo’s fielding performance, but he did so while referring to the West Indian as a “old man.”
Dhoni can be heard saying over the stump mic, “Well done, old man.”
Dhoni’s remark left even the commentators speechless.
