Jos Buttler was on fire against the Mumbai Indians, hitting a 66-ball century to help Rajasthan Royals win their second match in a row in the ongoing IPL 2022 season. Rajasthan won by 23 runs over the five-time champions Mumbai Indians, thanks to Buttler’s effort and an all-round bowling display. Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal had a lighthearted conversation after the game, in which Buttler joked that he needed to keep performing in order to keep Chahal from opening the batting.

Buttler had earlier scored 100 runs off 68 balls against the Mumbai Indians; with 11 fours and five sixes, to enable Rajasthan Royals reach 193/8 in 20 overs.
