Chennai Super Kings players take an interest in a one-of-a-kind team-building movement. “Boosting Team Spirit”
Every team must work well together as a unit in order to function properly. Chennai Super Kings, the defending Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, are no exception. The CSK players were shown creating structures using bricks; and cement in a short film published by the franchise on Tuesday.
“In coaching, team building is incredibly important, so we’re practicing team building,” said head coach Stephen Fleming. In a team-building exercise, CSK players such as Mahendra Singh Dhoni, skipper Ravindra Jadeja, Robin Uthappa; and Dwayne Bravo were seen utilizing various tools as well as their hands to apply cement on blocks.
Chennai had a poor start to this year’s IPL season, losing by 6 wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders in the first match on Saturday.
CSK batted first and managed a modest 131 for five thanks to Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s; unbeaten fifty and help from skipper Ravindra Jadeja (26 not out) and Robin Uthappa (28).

In his 38-ball innings, Dhoni smashed seven fours and a six for the first time in 12 seasons; without wearing the captain’s armband.
In reply, KKR chased down the goal in 18.3 overs, scoring 133 for four.

As CSK battled at the Wankhede stadium, Umesh Yadav took two wickets for KKR; whereas Varun Chakravarthy (1/23) and Andre Russell (1/38) moreover held things in check. CSK’s most effective bowler was Dwayne Bravo, who took three for twenty in his four overs. One was take by Mitchell Santner (1/31).
