Liverpool moved within three points of Manchester City in the EPL after defeating Leeds United.
Since Christmas Day, Liverpool hasn’t been this close to Manchester City. After Liverpool’s 6-0 demolition of Leeds on Wednesday, the margin between City; and Liverpool in the Premier League title chase has shrunk to three points. Mohamed Salah, of course, was responsible for the majority of the damage, scoring two penalties and assisting on two more. Sadio Mane scored twice as well. Liverpool has finally caught up to City in terms of games played; with both teams having played 26 in the 38-game season.
There’s nothing to choose between the top two the past two winners of English football’s richest award; with Liverpool still to visit City’s Etihad Stadium on April 10.

Watford, who lost 4-1 at home to Crystal Palace; where Wilfried Zaha scored two late goals, replaced Burnley in 19th place.
Leeds is now in 15th place, just three points above the relegation zone. There are seven points separating the lowest seven teams.
