The Asian Football Confederation reported on Thursday that Kolkata will have the centralized; Gather D South Zone matches of the AFC Cup 2022; which can also highlight Indian group Gokulam Kerala FC. Other groups in Bunch D are Bangladesh’s Bashundhara Lords; the Maldives’ Maziya Sports and Entertainment, and also the winner of a six-team; South Asian competition within the preparatory and play-off stages. Kerala’s Gokulam will compete in AFC Cup group matches in Kolkata.

The AFC reported on Thursday the centralized areas for the AFC Cup 2022 bunch organize matches; which would be also held within the West and South Zones from May 18 to 24; and within the ASEAN, Central, and East Zones from June 24 to 30, individually.

Three-time winners Kuwait SC will face Lebanon’s Al Ansar as well as Oman’s Al Seeb Club; and also Syria’s Jableh, in the AFC Cup 2022 Group A matches in Muscat, Oman.

Al Riffa from Bahrain, Palestine’s Shabab Al Khalil, Dhofar Club of Oman; and Kuwaiti side Arabi SC will compete in Group B in Kuwait City, while Syrian side Tishreen, Lebanon’s Nejmeh; Bahrain’s East Riffa, and Palestine’s Hilal Al Quds will compete in Group C in Manama, Bahrain.

The Group E matches will be held at Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and will feature Turkmenistan’s Altyn Asyr; Kyrgyz Republic’s PFC Neftchi, Tajikistan’s FC CSKA, and either FC Nasaf or PFC Sogdiana from Uzbekistan.

Meanwhile, FC Khujand of Tajikistan, FC Dordoi of Kyrgyz Republic; and Kopetdag of Turkmenistan will compete in Group F at Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

The matches in Group G, which also includes Indonesia’s Bali United, Malaysia’s Kedah Darul Aman FC; and the Philippines’ Kaya FC-Iloilo, will be held in Denpasar, Indonesia; while Group H will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In the East Zone, Tainan, Chinese Taipei, will host the challengers in Group J; which are Hong Kong’s Eastern Long Lions, Macau’s MUST CPK, Chinese Taipei’s Tainan City; and either Hong Kong’s Lee Man or Mongolia’s Athletic 220.

The host site for Group I’s centralized matches has yet to be determined.
