India won the moment T20I against the West Indies at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday night to seize a 2-0 lead within the three-match T20I arrangement. With the win, India got to be as it were the moment side in men’s cricket history to win 100 T20Is, after Pakistan. India has played 155 matches, winning 100 (counting Super Over triumphs), losing 51, and having four no-result experiences. Pakistan has won 118 out of 189 Twenty20 Internationals. As it were Afghanistan (67.97) contains a higher win rate than India among groups that have played more than 50 T20Is. After being welcome to bat by the West Indies, India surged to 186 for five in Kolkata on Friday, boosted by half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant.
Kohli crushed an unbeaten 52 off 28 balls, whereas Gasp crushed 52 off 41 balls. Gasp and Venkatesh Iyer’s combination was basic for India, as the match contributes 76 runs in 35 balls to enable India to reach an imposing total.
Yuzvendra Chahal struck within the powerplay overs to put the West Indies on the back foot within the chase. Within the ninth over, Ravi Bishnoi expelled Brandon Ruler to improve India’s lead.
Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell, on the other hand, took matters into their own hands and hit excellent half-centuries to put the visitors in command. The pair added 100 runs in 60 balls to put the West Indies in contention.

The West Indies, though, fell eight runs short thanks to some excellent death bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel.
