Taking after the worldwide objection over his choice to stay unvaccinated; Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic was welcome warmly in Dubai when he went by the world’s reasonable. Djokovic was within the Joined together Middle easterner Emirates for the Obligation Free Tennis Championships; after being kept and also ousted twice from Australia sometime recently of the year’s opening Terrific Hammer competition final month. In an interview with Serbia’s national broadcaster RTS on Thursday; Djokovic stated that he retains “an open mind about the potential of getting the vaccine in the future; but that he is willing to miss forthcoming majors due to his refusal to do so. He stated, “I am not exclusive; anything is possible in life.”
“I’ve decided not to do it right now and I prepare to pay the price. Dubai’s government does not require travellers to have a vaccine in order to enter. Next week is the start of the men’s tennis circuit event. Fans cheered and also yelled Nole, his nickname; as he walked into the pavilion surrounded by a swarm of journalists on Thursday.

Days before he was ready to hit the courts, Djokovic posed for photographs; with adoring fans and went on a guided tour of Serbia’s national pavilion at Expo 2020. The Novak Djokovic Foundation, which promotes early childhood education in Serbia, was holding an event in the pavilion.
After his wife Jelena presented a presentation about the foundation’s; work with children, Djokovic stated, I’m proud to be on this stage. Given his hectic tournament schedule; he acknowledged it was also often difficult to devote as much time to the foundation as he wished.

But, he immediately admitted, it’s not as busy as it once was. The audience erupted in cheers. Djokovic gave high fives to toddlers and also nodded encouragingly as he learned about Serbia’s start-up scene at the pavilion’s; multimedia exhibit, wearing a crisp white shirt and black mask embossed with his foundation’s emblem.
