“…there was a letter written in my name in Riga that I didn’t know about until the day before yesterday. She too expressed that she did not open the mail and had no issues. “I didn’t open the letter, and I didn’t have any issues. The Riga organizers and FIDE took care of the circumstances very well,” she remarked. FIDE, for its part, stated that when; the letters were discover during the event; it took action to forward them to the Latvian police, who are currently investigating them. When letters were got amid the fantastic Swiss competition in Riga, FIDE took activity. According to Russian media sources, almost 15 players have gotten sexually damaging correspondence.
