Australia is planning a full-strength trip to Pakistan.
Australia will travel to Pakistan with a full team, since no player has raised reservations about visiting the country; which has not hosted top-flight international cricket in nearly a decade because to security concerns. They are planning a full-strength trip to Pakistan.
Pakistan last hosted an ICC tournament on its land in 1996; when it co-hosted the World Cup with India and Sri Lanka. Test cricket was banned until 2019 due to a terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009.
New Zealand and England withdrew out of a trip to Pakistan last year; just before the T20 World Cup, citing security concerns, with the Kiwis pulling out at the eleventh hour.
Australia, on the other hand, appeared to be on track for its first trip to Pakistan in 24 years, with national selector George Bailey describing the security arrangements as “very, very solid and very, very thorough.”
“I accept the sheets are still working through a few of the better details around that visit,” Bailey told correspondents on Tuesday, concurring to Cricket Australia’s site. “Once that gets the formal tick of endorsement, at that point we’ll report the group taking after that, but we’re moderately well down the track.”

The final time Australia gone to the Asian nation was in 1998, when Stamp Taylor was the captain. Although the resumption of the Sheffield Shield season is questionable, selectors may not be required to observe Shield exhibitions in arrange to choose the squad taking after Australia’s 4-0 Fiery remains whipping of Britain.
“I’m not sure if we’ll get a chance to see any Shield cricket or not,” Bailey added.
“But I think the one thing we have to be really okay with is that we have to accept what we have right now and be adaptable.”
