Mayank Agarwal scored a magnificent century to propel India to victory in the second Test against New Zealand

Mayank Agarwal’s incredible century helped India win the second Test against New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He scored 150 runs in 311 balls in the first innings, helping India to a total of 325.

His name was engraved on the stadium’s Honours Board after the game. Following that, the 30-year-old moved to Twitter to express his gratitude for the memorable occasion.

“This isn’t just a name on a board. This is all the hardwork culminating into something that goes beyond,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Playing Test cricket and contributing to a win for your country is everything for someone who grew up worshipping the game. It’s an honour to be named alongside so many greats.” He added

Mayank was just inducted into the Wankhede Honours Board. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a series of photos of him.

Ajaz Patel of New Zealand made history by getting all ten wickets in India’s first innings. Mayank Agarwal, on the other hand, bowled a magnificent 150-run innings to help the hosts reach a formidable 325-run total.

India had lost three wickets for no runs added to the board at one point, but Mayank guaranteed that the innings would not end in a collapse.

In his 311-ball innings, the opener overpowered the spinners, hitting 17 boundaries and four sixes.

Mayank’s century was his fourth in Test cricket, and his third score of 150 or more.

In the first innings, India bowled the Kiwis out for 62 runs. Mayank hit 62 in the second innings to help India set a 540-run total for New Zealand.
