India vs New Zealand: “Mornings at home,” Virat Kohli shares a beautiful view from his Mumbai balcony

Virat Kohli, Team India’s captain, is taking time off from cricket to visit his family in Mumbai.

On Saturday, the talismanic run-scorer tweeted a couple of clips of a stunning scene from his balcony. On his Instagram story, he shared the video.

“Mornings at home.”

Virat Kohli’s Worli apartment is on the 35th floor of the three-tower Omkar 1973 complex in Worli, Mumbai. It has a stunning view of the Arabian Sea, making for a relaxing stay.

All three Twenty20 Internationals and the first Test against New Zealand were missed by the 33-year-old. In the final game of the trip, in Mumbai, he’ll be right back in the middle of things.

Kohli was also spotted training with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) head coach Sanjay Bangar to address his recent batsmanship issues. As he attempts to snap his two-year century drought, the Indian captain underwent a tough batting practice with the former India all-rounder.

India vs New Zealand

Virat Kohli last hit a century in a Test against Bangladesh in November of this year. Since then, he has only managed to score 563 runs at an average of 26.80 in 21 Test innings. He has only five 50s, the highest of which is a 74.

Kohli will join the Indian team in Mumbai for the second Test, which will be held at the Wankhede Stadium.

India is currently under pressure in the first Test after New Zealand’s incredible revival on Day 2. Thanks to Tom Latham and Will Young, the visitors got off to a flying start in their innings. Tim Southee’s five-wicket haul in the first innings helped the Kiwis restrict India to 345 runs.

Will Young the only wicket taken by Indian bowlers so far. At the time of writing, New Zealand had a score of 196/1. The hosts must quickly recover and take a couple of wickets to remain in contention in the present match.
