IPL Auction 2022: 5 players who could make their IPL debut after an impressive Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 performance

All clubs have begun bidding for the IPL Auction 2022, which will take place in the following weeks. It’s the first time in almost a decade that this has happened. A ten-team auction will be held during the IPL.

Two new clubs have joined the tournament, similar to the IPL Auction 2011. This time, though, the bases for the two teams are different. In 2011, Pune and Kochi were the two teams, while Ahmedabad and Lucknow will be the newcomers in 2022.

However, According to reports, each of the eight existing organizations will be allowed to keep a maximum of four players from their present rosters.

The 2021/22 tournament of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy ended yesterday, with Tamil Nadu capturing their third title. There were a lot of standout performers among the 38 clubs that competed in the local T20 competition, and here are the five players that could make their IPL debut in 2022.

#1 Abhinav Manohar, Karnataka

In 2021/22, Abhinav Manohar made his Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy debut and wowed everyone with his batting abilities. The Bengaluru-born batsman appeared in four matches for Karnataka, scoring 162 runs with a strike rate of 150.

#2 Jitesh Sharma, Vidarbha

#4 CV Milind, Hyderabad

In a T20 team, left-arm pacers can be the ‘X-factor.’ Many left-arm fast bowlers have had success in T20 cricket, and also CV Milind of Hyderabad has added his name to the list by finishing the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as the most successful bowler in 2021/22.

#5 CV Stephen, Andhra

CV Stephen is another left-handed pacer on this list. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the Andhra pacer took also the second-most wickets. In just five matches, Stephen took 14 wickets.
