In pursuit of 167, all-rounder James Neesham (27 off 11) gave his side a boost after Mitchell laid the foundation in the companionship of Devon Conway (46 off 38).

Therefore, Eoin Morgan’s men defeated New Zealand in the 2019 ODI World Cup final, which was a painful setback for the Kiwis. New Zealand has finally evened the score in their intense rivalry with England after two years.
