Brad Hogg predicts Australia will beat arch-rivals England in T20 World Cup 2021

As such, Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg discussed the advantages and disadvantages of Australia and England, who will face off for first place in the group later tonight (October 30). Early wickets will be crucial in the match between the arch-rivals, according to Hogg. He predicted that the Australians will improve in that area and win as a result.

Only the net run rate separates England and Australia in the table, since both sides have two victories. While Hogg acknowledges England’s death bowling skill, he believes Australia is better with the new ball, with Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills able to control the back end of the innings.

“While Australia have Starc for the death, who can bowl reverse swing and control a lot of batsmen in that period. But, England have Jordan as well as Mills, two of the best death bowlers going around in International cricket right now. Where the game is going to be won is the early wickets and that’s where I think Australia have got the advantage and that’s why I think they will win tonight.” Hogg said

The matchup between Australia’s three-pronged pace attack and England’s feisty openers will be fascinating to watch, and it might very well determine the game’s tempo.
