Daren Sammy says “It doesn’t mean we are out” in ICC T20 World Cup 2021

As a result, former West Indies captain Daren Sammy believes his team has a chance to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Kieron Pollard and his teammates have had the worst start to the season, having lost both of their games thus far. West Indies need to make a couple of adjustments, according to Sammy, ahead of their next match.

“We are all disappointed. The World Cup has not started as we have wanted to. It doesn’t mean we are out. What we can control now is the way we go out and play. he said

“As a captain, I know that I have to make some personal changes in the team. Roston Chase would definitely come in,” he added

The West Indies were bowled out for only 55 runs in their tournament opener against England. They improved their performance in the following game against South Africa, but it was not enough to secure a victory.

As a result, Daren Sammy continued, in order to win their forthcoming games, players must work as a team and encourage one another.
