Aakash Chopra has given his predictions for the T20 World Cup 2021 match between Australia and Sri Lanka, which will be played today evening. He believes the Australian pacers will have a field day and take a lot of wickets.
The second Super 12 Group 1 match between Australia and Sri Lanka will be contested in Dubai. The teams led by Aaron Finch and Dasun Shanaka are coming off victories over South Africa and Bangladesh, respectively.
“If we combine the powerplay overs of both teams, I feel three wickets will fall. Aaron Finch and Warner’s form on one side and Kusal Perera on the other side, and the truth is that the bowling is going to be extremely fast, whether it is Starc, Cummins, or Josh Hazlewood. I feel three or more wickets can fall.” He reasoned

In Australia’s first Super 12 match, Starc and Cummins grabbed three of South Africa’s nine wickets. Josh Hazlewood, who also received the Player of the Match award for his 2/19 spell, was a valuable addition to the team.
“I also feel that Australia will win this encounter, which means Australia would have won two out of two. They will join England and Pakistan. It is possible Sri Lanka might do that as they also won their first match.” Aakash Chopra observed
Australia will undoubtedly be the favorites in tonight’s match versus Sri Lanka. With four points, the winner of this match will join England at the top of Group 1’s points standings.
