Team India stars put to test with “Squid Game” challenge in T20 World Cup 2021

The “dalgona candy” challenge from the viral Korean show “Squid Game” attempted by certain Team India players competing in the T20 World Cup 2021.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) published a hilarious video of Team India players competing in the “Squid Game.”

“India put to the test in nerve-wracking game. Indian Cricket Team stars are put to the test with a game made famous by one of the world’s most talked-about shows,” he said

The Indian players who were up for the challenge that Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Mohammed Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah.

The cricketers had to carve out a shape drawn in the candy without breaking it in the “dalgona candy challenge.” Players that fail to complete the task in the allotted time or shatter the candy while attempting to carve out the shape are killed in the show.

While Chakravarthy, Rahul, Yadav, and Bumrah’s candies broken throughout the challenge, Rohit and Shami completed it successfully.

On the field, Team India trounced Australia by eight wickets at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Wednesday in their second T20 World Cup 2021 warm-up match.

Ravichandran Ashwin took 2 for 8 for India, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravindra Jadeja, and Rahul Chahar each took one wicket. In the chase, Team India won with ease. Rohit Sharma, the team’s captain, scored 60 off 41 balls before retiring. Suryakumar Yadav remained undefeated on 38, while KL Rahul contributed 39.

On October 24, Team India will face Pakistan in Dubai to begin their T20 World Cup 2021 campaign. To date, India has never lost to Pakistan in a World Cup match (T20Is or ODIs).
