“Well it’s not about me playing for CSK, it’s about what is best for CSK. The core group can carry the team for 10 years. Now we need to see what is best.” he said
During the ICC T20 World Cup, the former India cricketer will wear the mentor’s hat for the first time. He’ll try to assist Virat Kohli and his teammates in their quest to end an eight-year drought in ICC competitions.

Chennai Super Kings have perhaps the most devoted fan following in the country, with fans flocking to support their favorite team in large numbers. The final in Dubai on Friday was no exception.
MS Dhoni expressed his gratitude to the supporters and expressed hope that they will be back in front of a sold-out MA Chidambaram Stadium next year.
“I would love to thank the fans. We are in Dubai now. Even when we played in South Africa, we always got a good amount of support. Thanks to all of them. It feels like Chepauk, Chennai. Hopefully, we will come back to play off the Chennai fans next year,” MS Dhoni concluded.
CSK fans have stood with their cricketers in good times and bad. The Super Kings made an incredible comeback to win the IPL this season after finishing seventh in the previous season.
