David Warner- Didn’t get any explanation on why I was sacked as SRH captain in IPL 2021

David Warner has disclosed that he was never given an explanation for why he was fired as captain of the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) midway through the IPL 2021 season.

The opening batsman voiced his dissatisfaction that the organization had neglected his accomplishments. It is over the course of more than eight years after just “four terrible games.” David Warner also stated that some “unanswered questions” remained in his mind, which he did not expect to be resolved anytime soon.

“The only disappointing thing for me was not being explained why I was dropped as captain. If you want to go along the lines of form, it is a difficult one because I guess. Whatever you have done in the past would have some weight moving forward, you would think. Especially when you have played about 100 games for the franchise, I think I had four bad games in those first five matches in Chennai. It is difficult, a tough pill to swallow. There are still questions to which I think I’ll never get answers, but you have to move on.” he said

David Warner also discussed his heartfelt social media farewell messages. Which came despite the fact that there was no official confirmation of his future with the franchise. He stated he had a ‘gut sense’ he wouldn’t be retained for the IPL 2022 season. So he felt now was the moment to thank his fans.
