Nathan Coulter-Nile, the bowler for Mumbai Indians (MI), stated he didn’t know the actual reasoning behind Hardik Pandya’s promotion to No. 4 against Rajasthan Royals (RR). He did agree, however, that whoever batted first was anticipated to score quickly.

MI moved up to fifth place in the standings after their thrashing win. They have 12 points in 13 games and a -0.048 net run rate.

Ishan Kishan would open if Quinton de Kock was dropped from the playing XI, according to the MI medium pacer.
“I think opening the innings is a good place for him. He likes to play his shots and, on a wicket like that, it was only going to get harder. So that’s why we saw our stroke-makers go up the order. He was slated to bat in the top order once Quinny (Quinton de Kock) went out.” he said
