Ravichandran Ashwin, a senior off-spinner for Delhi Capitals (DC), believes their match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). It would be a high-scoring affair.
DC will face CSK in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021’s 50th match in Dubai. Both teams have 18 points from 12 games and have qualified for the playoffs.
“It will be at the Dubai stadium, so the pitch has been good in Dubai. I am expecting quite a good batting dish out the game. Looking forward to the challenge. They batted aggressively against us at the Wankhede as well. ”he said
When the teams played in Mumbai in the first half of the IPL 2021, CSK scored 188 for seven. DC, on the other hand, easily chased down the target, winning by seven wickets.
Ruturaj Gaikwad
The batting talent of his old franchise CSK has impressed Ashwin. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who hit a century against Rajasthan Royals (RR), was singled out for special attention.
“Look, I think CSK has got a couple of batters who look like they are in golden form. I don’t know what else to say. The way Ruturaj Gaikwad has been batting has been absolutely wonderful to watch. I’ve enjoyed every single moment of how he’s had to bat. And it’s going to be a challenge. CSK bat deep, bat aggressively.” he said
CSK and DC are now tied for first place in the IPL 2021 points table, separated only by their net run rate.
Since he and Rishabh Pant scored an extra run via a ricochet during DC’s game against KKR, Ashwin has been at the center of a controversy.
