IPL2021: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu have set their practice sessions on fire ahead of the second stage of IPL 2021. Planned to commence on September 19 within the UAE.

However, CSK is one of the first teams to arrive within the UAE ahead of the resumption of the league. In a later video shared by the franchise on social media, Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu were seen going bonkers against the bowler.

Thus, Raina and Rayudu, who are two pillars of CSK’s middle-order. It looked in fine touch within the training which is able to provide MS Dhoni & Co. tremendous certainty going into the business end of the league.

One of CSK’s back staff and former India universal, Laxmipathy Balaji, too loaded praise on Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu.

“Couple of them have looked really good. Rayudu and Suresh looked really great with batting flows and everything,” he said

Rayudu and Raina looked in a good frame within the first half of IPL 2021. He scored 136 runs from seven matches, counting a fifty, whereas Raina amassed 123 runs at a strike rate of 126.80. Both of them will see to keep up the great run as CSK look to better their record within the UAE conditions.

MS Dhoni

After a dreary run in IPL 2020, MS Dhoni’s CSK scripted a total turnaround in 2021, winning five of their seven matches. They were set second within the points table when the competition was suspended on May 4 due to a COVID-19 emergency. The three-time IPL champions have 10 points beneath their belt from seven matches.
