Mark Wood will not be part of England’s squad for the 3rd Test due to a “jarred right shoulder”

The England and Grains Cricket Board on Monday reported that quick bowler Check Wood will not be a portion of the 3rd Test between India and Britain. Wood has been ruled out of the Headingley Test, beginning August 25, due to a “jarred right shoulder”.

Britain has not named a replacement for the 3rd Test whereas they said Mark Wood will be assessed after the completion of the 3rd Test. The 31-year-old will stay with the Britain squad amid the course of the 3rd Test in Leeds.

“Wood sustained the injury on the fourth day of the second Test at Lord’s and will not be fit to play at Emerald Headingley starting on Wednesday. He will remain with the squad in Leeds and will continue his rehab with the England medical team. The 31-year-old will be assessed at the end of this Test match,” said the ECB
